Eurythmics' Annie Lennox Has Emergency Back Surgery
Eurythmics isaac Merrit Singer Annie Lennox has had an operation on her spine next complaints of spasms in her back.
Lennox was flown home plate to the UK after being taken ill during an Aids conference in Mexico last week.
Surgeons released an impinged nerve during the operation, a spokesperson for the singer aforesaid.

Laila Ali: I'm Going to Be a Strict Mom!
Her son is not here yet, but Laila Ali already knows exactly what type of mother she's going to be.
"I think I'll be one of those overprotective mothers that can be a little too strict sometimes," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "My husband is going to have to watch me to make sure I don't go overboard!"
The boxer and her husband, NFL player Curtis Conway, expect their boy, to be named Curtis Muhammad, in September, and she's not the only one excited. Dad Muhammad Ali can't wait for his grandson to arrive either.
"He's very excited to be having a boy in particular," Laila says.
So far, the 30-year-old has had a relatively easy pregnancy. No morning sickness or weird cravings of any sort. And the baby weight?
"I have gained 25 pounds, but I'm gonna go back to that gym and work it all off so I'm not really worried about it," she says.

When John LeSieur saw his 6-year-old grandson Zackary, who is autistic, getting frustrated when he tried to use a computer, LeSieur decided to take some initiative. He built the boy a custom-made browser.
The Zac, or "Zone for Autistic Children," provides a window onto the Web that is trimmed of excessive motion and complexity, allowing children with the condition to navigate certain sites without becoming overwhelmed by noisy stimuli.
Zackary, who doesn't speak much, has begun using the browser and is able to start it by himself. "He enjoys listening to music through the program and trying puzzles," his mother told AP tech writer Brian Bergstein,"things he always liked before but hadn't been able to explore online."

Bjork allegedly attacks photographer
Icelandic vocalizer Bjork has allegedly attacked a photographer at Auckland International Aerodrome.
According to reports, the vocalizer ripped lensman Glenn Jeffrey's shirt in half after he ignored a request to stop taking pictures of the singer.
Jeffrey told the Fresh Seeland Herlad: "I took a couple of pictures and I got about trey or four-spot frames of her... and as I turned and walked out she came up in arrears me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy (sweatshirt) and tore it pull down the endorse."
"As she did this she fell over, she fell to the ground. At no stage did I rival her or speak with her."
The newspaper's internet site has reported that neither the newspaper nor Jeffrey signify to file charges against the singer.

A freshly occult thriller from 'Man Around Dog' and 'I Went Down' director Paddy Breathnach has begun filming in Belfast.
Kind reports that 'Red Mist' stars Arielle Kebbel ('The Grudge 2'), Sarah Carter ('Shark') and Sir Leslie Stephen Dillane ('Spy Game').
It began filming on 4 February and is due to be completed by Nov.
